Sarah and Kimo Bertram’s admiral blue maritime home in Mission Creek San Francisco was designed by Robert Nebolon Architects and built by contractor Bart Elmer with many of the same kinds of covetable architectural elements you’d find on land. The undulating terrain of the plot meant that Felipe Bueno & Alexandre Bueno had to create a lower wing that contained the laundry cellar and garage while providing the top level with a base at uniform height. A green wall that took shape in the garden outside flows into the living room as well and brings along with it both natural freshness and ventilation.

The central wing contains the living space kitchen and dining room while the master suite and additional bedrooms flank it on both sides.
