This tranquil floating home may just be a concept but we hope that Singapore-based architect Dymitr Malcewcan brings his vision to life soon. We can certainly picture ourselves taking advantage of its giant glass walls open concept kitchen and living room and out-of-this-world roof terrace.
Transcendent lighting the sight of cool hammock-laced hangouts floating on the lake just a few steps away and the curated pool deck with an outdoor lounge add to the appeal of the pool house. Without a semblance of a doubt it is the magical backdrop that turns this sensible and stylish kiosk into a memorable masterpiece!
Despite its playful use of colors such as pink yellow red green and orange in different rooms the revamped home has a distinct and clean contemporary style. The backdrop in each room is kept as neutral as possible and black wood floors instantly make their presence felt in this light and airy setting. Ample natural ventilation a touch of relaxed minimalism in the air and interesting decor choices turn the modern makeover into an exciting affair.
Sarah and Kimo Bertram’s admiral blue maritime home in Mission Creek San Francisco was designed by Robert Nebolon Architects and built by contractor Bart Elmer with many of the same kinds of covetable architectural elements you’d find on land. Despite its liquid foundation the house’s double-level main living space features large dramatic windows that allow homeowners to soak in those baby blue water views.
A stylish dining space with iconic Panton S Chairs sits next to it and leads toward the kitchen and the expansive rear garden. It is here that one finds the lovely outdoor lounge barbecue area wooden pool deck and of course the green backyard.
